Local thumbnail checks
Your thumbnail image is processed locally in your browser. ImageSizeKit does not upload, store, or inspect your image file. The YouTube thumbnail checker reads dimensions, file type, and file size through browser APIs.
The same local-processing principle applies to image dimension, banner, profile picture, and aspect-ratio tools when they read files or preview images. The selected file stays on your device unless you independently upload it to another service.
Use the Image Size Checker for general file checks, the Banner Size Checker for wide cover assets, or the Social Media Image Checker when you need to route an exported image to the closest platform guide. For website cards and link previews, the Open Graph Image Size page explains the target image dimensions and metadata checks before you publish a URL.
Template downloads are separate from local file checks. The Image Size Templates hub links to reusable SVG guide files, public source pages, and versioned releases; it does not require an account, project upload, or image submission to ImageSizeKit.
Local tool privacy routes
These ImageSizeKit tools are designed around local checks and routing. Use them when you need image facts or a platform guide without sending the selected image file to ImageSizeKit.

Analytics
We may collect basic usage events such as checker viewed, checker completed, overall status, width bucket, file size bucket, and failed rule IDs. We do not send file names, local paths, image URLs, raw images, or binary data.
Analytics are used to understand which tools need clearer guidance, which checks fail most often, and whether a page helps users reach the next relevant image-size guide. These events are intentionally limited to product behavior rather than personal creative assets.
Official sources
ImageSizeKit links to official help pages when a tool depends on platform requirements. Always check the official source before publishing important assets.
External links are reviewed as part of regular SEO maintenance. If a third-party listing or reference becomes unstable, it may be removed until the destination is reliable again.
